Graduated from Lodz Film School in Poland, Edyta Janczak-Hiriart holds a Master in Film Studies. She is the Founder and Manager of Kometa Films and produces feature films and audiovisual content for Tv and streaming services/platforms.

She holds a Master in Law and audiovisual management (Panthéon-Sorbonne university, Paris – France). She graduated in Theatre and Film Studies (Paris III University) and specialized in international coproduction at the Media Business School (Spain) and in Script Editing at Paris’ CEEA. She has been a member of EAVE since 2009.
She started her career at Théâtre du Soleil, a multicultural company led by Ariane Mnouchkine before assisting veteran Producer Rosalinde Deville at Elefilm.
After a year in New-York working at Unifrance in New York, she joined ADR Production where she headed the documentary department. She line-produced international co-productions for cinema, Arte and broadcasters from around the world such as Memoria Del Saqueo by Fernando Solanas (Berlin Golden Bear of Honour 2003), Return to Kigali by J.C Klotz (Cannes Critics’ Week 2005), Mana Beyond Belief by Peter Friedman. She had experiences in the UK at Verve Pictures (distribution) and TWC (development) before producing documentaries and shorts in France and Northern-Ireland within Boa Film et Roof Raic. She then joined Arsam International where she headed development and production for seven years managing large scale and noteworthy international co-productions including I, Anna by Barnaby Southcombe, Final Portrait by Stanley Tucci, When Day Breaks by Goran Paskaljevic, Cunningham 3D by Alla Kovgan (TIFF2019) and was Associate Producer on The Panguna Syndrome by Olivier Pollet and Alexandre Berman (nominated for the Albert Londres Price). She has been Business Affairs for KinoElektron where she also intervened on features such as In the Dusk by Sharunas Bartas (Official Selection, Cannes 2020).
Since 2008, she’s been producing with Jihan El Tahri within Big Sister, films from talents from African countries and the MENA region such as Nasser by Jihan El Tahri (TIFF 2016) and most recently Mariner of the Mountains by Karim Aïnouz (Official Selection, Cannes 2021). She also produces director driven films within Kometa Films in France.
She is Expert in coproduction strategies for coproduction markets (Locarno Open Doors, Atlas Workshop, La Fabrique des Cinémas du Monde) and teaches international co-production at Paris’ film school ESRA and at the Gustave Eiffel International University.

Graduated in Literature and Philosophy, he holds a Master in Management of Cultural Organizations (Paris Dauphine). He is Head of the Atlas Workshops of Marrakech IFF. He works as Development and script consultant within Scale and Scope.
He coordinated and then headed Paris Project, Paris Cinema IFF’s co-production market and development platform. He worked for 13 years as a film Programmer at Angers Premiers Plans Film Festival and 7 years as Angers Workshops Coordinator. He was Programme Coordinator of La Fabrique training programme in Cannes and then member of its selection committee. He was Project Manager for Locarno IFF Alliance for Development and Open Doors Extended and launched a new development program for Asian professionals. He has been a film Programmer for Ulaanbaator IFF in Mongolia since 2013.

Théo Verzeroli graduated from la Sorbonne University in a Screenwriting and Development Management Masters. He joined Kometa Films in 2022 as a development executive. Formerly, he has worked as a sreenwriting coordinator for TF1’s daily soap series and as a development consultant at Initiative Film. He is also script reader for Amazon Prime Video original series department.
