In a small village in Kosovo where stray dogs are rife, Agron, an idealistic vet, dreams of turning his family’s land into a refuge. But the return of his brother Baton, determined to sell the land to pay off his debts, upsets his plans. When a child’s bite triggers a mass scare, his neighbour Luan stirs up tensions and organises a dog hunt, despite Agron’s opposition. What begins as an animal hunt degenerates into a fratricidal confrontation in which the line between man and beast becomes blurred. Caught in a spiral of violence, Agron must choose between giving in to brutality or preserving what remains of his humanity.
